Stage Fright

I have thought about a blog for a while now. I thought it would be a good way to keep in touch and have more of a journal than I currently do. My sister Elise started one and I got more serious in my contemplation. I loved hearing about her day to day and felt like I knew more of her heart. It was almost as good as a phone call and it was always available when I was. In fact her blog spurred me to call her more and just talk about things.
Now after our first annual Girls Weekend I have my own blog. I was excited and Elise coached me through the whole set up process. Easy right? Yes! But now I have the blank blog staring me in the face and nothing to say. It feels a little like Christmas time when Mom asks me what I want for Christmas and I can't think of a thing. I know just the month before I came up with a great list of things but when I'm on the spot I got nuthin'
So check again soon I know I'll get over my stage fright and come up with something good or I'll be posting the best prose I can find just to have something to post.

At least you are contemplating---I just got something down quick so I could just get started. It was a treat to be with you this past weekend--Thanks for the haircut--I'm trying to make it look like it should. I got my pomade today---it helps! Love ya!

I love you Chandra! I love your phone calls and I am really looking forward to reading more on your blog. Sometimes I find it comes in spurts-tons of ideas one week and then not so many the next. It evens out though. So good to see you! Love you!

Chandra! Hello! Awesomely awesome! I saw your invite in our e-mail and wondered who it could be. I feel like I just got a present. We have some friends in town who moved away a few years ago, and just finished a party for them, and we were up late waiting for Elizabeth to get home from her first high school party (a cast party for the school musical), and it's late so I'm tired, but I wanted to say hello and thank you and it was so great to see pictures of your kids. Shane was standing over my shoulder and we both said, Kieren looks like her Dad (in a good girly way). I've been looking through some old pictures w/this friend coming, and it's brought a lot of memories. Okay, I could go on and on and it is midnight and I'll just have to call or something, but I keep thinking I'll do that so maybe this will get my rear in gear. Have you ever seen so many run on sentences in your life?

Wow, I can't believe how much everyone has grown. It's been a while since I've seen pictures. I can't wait to read more--Traci

Thanks all for visiting. Stephanie I'm so glad you decided to find out it was me. I didn't realize that my name wasn't anywhere in the invitation. I hope you'll visit often and give me a ring any time.

Traci! How's life? So glad to hear from you. How's all your family? I keep meaning to get in touch and chat and get a few recipes from you.
